The League also provides other services including: orientation and mobility, adaptive technology loaner program, youth services, Braille services, public education, and others. Also assists Deaf and hard-of-hearing persons in resolving day-to day problems such as employment, finances, housing and basic needs. Provides referrals to community organizations or agencies as appropriate.

Nursing Home Ombudsmen are advocates for residents of nursing homes, board and care homes, assisted living facilities, and similar adult care facilities. Ombudsmen can provide information on how to find a facility and what to do to get quality care.
