Provides training, consultation, and advocacy to the community for the purpose of implementing the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
The meetings are held at Turnstone, 3320 N. Clinton, Fort Wayne from 11:45 am til 12:45 pm. All are welcomed and feel free to bring lunch.

As a Center for Independent Living (CIL), the belief is that persons with disabilities have the right to control and direct their own lives and to participate actively in society. The core services include: information & referral, advocacy, peer support, and independent living skills. The League also provides other services including: orientation and mobility, adaptive technology loaner program, youth services, Braille services, public education, and others. Also assists Deaf and hard-of-hearing persons in resolving day-to day problems such as employment, finances, housing and basic needs. Provides referrals to community organizations or agencies as appropriate.
Neighborhood Specialists of Fort Wayne
The specialists assist with organizing new neighborhood association, including constitution and by-laws; provide information about city services such as trash collection, snow removal, animal control, etc.; help contact council person for resident; inform about street improvements; and try to answer questions in general related to city/county government that effect Fort Wayne citizens.

Turnstone Center for the Disabled Children and Adults, Inc.
Turnstone is a not-for-profit organization committed to serving the needs of individuals with physical disabilities and their families. Services include: preschool for children with physical disabilities, early intervention, parent and child enrichment (PACE), physical, occupation, and speech therapies, adult day care activities, therapeutic recreation, adult respite care, transportation, equipment assistance, service coordination and support, homebound therapy, information resources, support groups, paralysis care network, and advocacy.
