    There are two types of Advocacy: self Advocacy and systems advocacy.  Self advocacy is when you take the responsibility for your own life and become active in determining how to best meet your need.  Systems advocacy is when you cause change with the world around you:  community, government or society. These agencies can help you with advocacy or teach you
    how to advocate for yourself.
